So. As you saw in last week’s Baby Sprinkle Recap I made super cure and easy DIY Dot Garlands and hung them around our living room.
When we began planning this Sprinkle, I knew I wanted to make a pretty and easy decorative garland for an upcoming event. As always, I went over to Pinterest and found this tutorial from Glorious Treats. Easy, pretty, cost efficient = SOLD! So I got to work.
To make this DIY Dot Garland, you will need:
- String (I used bakers twine)
- Craft glue
- A hole punch for the size of the circles you want (I supposed you could trace them and hand cut, but that was way too much work for me!)
- Cardstock for in whatever colors you want.
After punching my circles, I sat down and made a small line with the craft glue, once I got the hang of it I would do a few at a time:
Then I would press the string gently into the glue to attach, again I did a few at a time (work smarter, not harder!):
Eventually, my table looked like this:
The were dry within 30 minutes but I let them hang out for a few hours to be safe, though more out of laziness.
This project was super simple and as you saw in the photos, totally fit the event they were used for.
