While we all know that getting organized is not my strong point, I really am trying. I decided to take it little by little. I figure a bunch of little projects will eventually add up (I hope!). So this past weekend, one of my little projects was getting rid of magazine clutter.
If you’re anything like me, you have a million old magazines that you’re holding onto. I can’t help it, I always find such great things that I want to save for later, so I let the magazines pile up and before I know it, they’re taking over my home.
Well that stops now. I went out and picked up a project organizer or in plain, non-target language an accordion folder. This particular one has 13 pockets.
I then went through and pulled out the pages of the articles that I want to keep.
From there, I unleashed A onto the magazines. Ten-month-olds love to destroy things like magazines. She was thrilled and immediately accepted my challenge.
I labeled my tabs accordingly and viola! Magazine clutter gone. Throwing out those magazines felt delightful. And now I’ll always know where to go to when I need inspiration and I need a break from electronics.
