Thanksgiving was a lovely day for us.

Our pretty cousin Stella had her 3rd birthday at the beginning of the month. Her mommy Chrissy helped her read the card.
We started as always, by relaxing at home in our pajamas, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, eating breakfast and relaxing as a family. I began my Christmas shopping online as I do every year (I’m half way done!). On a side note: for some of the following photos- we realize Bumbo chairs are not meant to be used up high, note that J is strategically positioned behind her with me on the front to make sure that there is no chance of A falling. We would NOT recommend using this chair or any other baby item up high without adult supervision at all times,
Around 2:30pm, we headed to my parents house for dinner, drinks and fun. There was lots of laughter, way too much delicious food, wine and a nice no-holds-barred game of Cards Against Humanity which my adorable grandmother sat and watched, giggling throughout at all of the less than appropriate cards.
A went to town on some sweet potatoes that I brought for her and probably could have eaten more if I had more with us. I may or may not have let her taste a teeny bit of gravy too. It was a long day for her and she didn’t exactly nap as well as usual, but all l things considered she did very well. It was a long day and between the wine and the Turkey, I was ready to sleep!
Overall, it was such a great day, and I can’t begin to say how excited I am for next year, when A is able to really enjoy all of the food.
