What’s Pretty This Weekend- 11/27/14

Here’s what’s pretty this weekend:

In getting away from traditional Thanksgiving fare– though you could potentially sub in leftover Turkey for this recipe, Cooking Classy featured these really tasty looking Chicken Fajita Stuffed Peppers back in September and I just came across them on Pinterest. I’m trying to teach myself to like peppers, these may be able to help!

On surviving the rest of the holiday season from an eating standpoint- I came across this article entitled 11 Unique Ways to Enjoy the Holidays Without Gaining Weight and everything inside of me went “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, right.” But I gave it a fair shot and read through it quickly. It actually makes some good points, so have a read. And now I’m going to continue eating another piece of that delicious leftover pie…

A cute little how-to that I want to make- This House Number Monogram is so darn cute. I am dying to make it, though it may have to wait until after the holidays. The how-to can e found over at Craft Cuts.

The Undeniable Cuteness That Is Puppies Wearing Disney Costumes In Slow Motion– because Yes.

That’s about all I’ve got right now. I think some of the tryptophan is still hanging out after my turkey binge yesterday. Here’s an image of my favorite pretty little Turkey from yesterday morning, exploring one of her toys for the first time:

November 30, 2014 at 10:17 pm I need to check out that how not to gain weight article. I gained my usual 5-ish pounds during the holidays last year and then got pregnant and kept it going. She sure is one pretty turkey!

December 1, 2014 at 1:15 pm Why thank you! I'm still holding on to 10 lbs and have been since my 6 week appointment back at the very beginning of AUGUST :( They just won't budge. On the plus side, I haven't gained anything since then.
