Peas with Onions is the most easy side dish! With a few simple ingredients, this recipe is a snap to throw together on a busy week night but delicious enough to serve at a gathering or with a holiday dinner.

Ingredients
Olive oil

small onion
minced
Salt and pepper
Around 2 ½ cups of peas
Water
Instructions
Over medium/medium high heat, warm the oil.
Add the onions to the pan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Sweat them for a few minutes until they are soft but not browned.
Add your peas to the pan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute for a couple minutes, stirring often.
Add water to just cover the peas and bring everything to a boil.
Once boiling, the heat to medium.
Simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the water has reduced to a very small amount and the peas are cooked.
