This pita chips recipe is one of the easiest snacks you can make at home. They’re crispy, full of flavor, and ready in about 20 minutes, making them perfect for last-minute guests or quick appetizers.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (or 375 degrees F is using an air fryer) and line a pan with a silpat or parchment paper. Set aside.
Cut the pita in half and then cut each half into three wedges. If working with pita pockets, cut each wedge in half for thinner chips.
Line the wedges up in a single layer on the pan.
Spray a light layer of olive oil onto the tops of the pita chips and sprinkle generously with Everything Bagel Seasoning. Flip the chips and repeat on the other side of them.
Oven Instructions
Bake for 5 minutes, flip and bake for another 5 minutes or until they're golden and crispy. Cool and serve.
Air Fryer Instructions:
Place chips in a single layer in the air fryer, cook for 3 minutes. Shake and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until they're golden and crispy. Cool and serve.

Notes
Cut the pita evenly. Keeping the wedges about the same size helps them bake at the same rate, preventing some pieces from burning while others stay soft.
Bake in a single layer. Spread the wedges out in the pan, so the heat circulates and crisps them properly.
This recipe also works well for air fryer pita chips. Prepare the wedges the same way, spray lightly with oil, add seasoning, and cook at about 375 degrees F for 5-7 minutes, checking halfway through so they crisp without over-browning.
Adjust the baking time to your preference. Bake a little shorter for chips that are crisp on the edges with a bit of chew in the middle, or a few minutes longer for fully crunchy chips.
Ingredients to prep ahead- You can cut the pita wedges earlier in the day and keep them covered until you’re ready to bake.
Leftovers and storage- Store cooled chips in an airtight container on the counter for a few days. They’re best fresh, but you can crisp them back up with a quick minute in the oven if needed.
