This easy grilled balsamic asparagus recipe is the absolute best way to cook asparagus! It only takes 15 minutes and grills up perfectly on your BBQ for a simple, crispy, healthy, and flavorful summer side dish.
Spray the grill with cooking spray and heat to medium heat.
In a bowl combine the the asparagus, oil and balsamic vinegar.
Season to taste with the last four ingredients and put the asparagus directly onto the grill.
Keeping an eye on it and turn it periodically, cook until the asparagus has a nice char (without burning). Serve immediately.

You don't really need measurements. I added some as a suggestion but I've always just seasoned these to taste, and the results have consistently been excellent.
Don't be afraid to get creative with your ingredients. I love the idea of adding honey for some added sweetness, cayenne pepper for a bit of heat, or a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten things up. Experiment with your own flavor combinations!
