Notes
Cut potatoes evenly. Uniform wedges help everything cook at the same rate.
Line your pan. These can stick, so use parchment or a silicone mat to make cleanup easy.
Be sure the ranch and potatoes are mixed well. You want every wedge to be fully coated in melted butter and ranch seasoning so the flavor bakes into every bite.
Watch your oven. Cooking times may vary, so keep an eye on the wedges to avoid burning or undercooking.
For a flavor boost, add a pinch of garlic powder, smoked paprika, or Italian herbs alongside the ranch seasoning.
Don’t crowd the pan. Give the wedges space on the sheet pan — this helps them crisp instead of steam.
Ingredients to prep ahead- Clean your potatoes and shred the cheese.
Leftovers and storage- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to bring the crisp back.
