Do you want to put a delicious, hot meal on the table for your family, but don’t know where to start?
Does dealing with all the work of searing meat and sautéing veggies sound exhausting?
Do you find you’d much rather be spending quality time with your family than hanging out at the stove all night?
I hear you! And I’m with you 100%. Life is so busy for all of us and getting great food on the table can be draining.
I did my annual survey at the end of 2018 and when I asked what was your biggest challenge in the kitchen, far and away the two most popular responses were lack of ideas or inspiration for easy weeknight dinners and lack of time. The struggle is real for all of us.
So, I am proud to bring you Dump It ‘Til It’s Hot, a series of dump recipes with minimal work but maximum flavor (and a big thanks to friend Mackenzie from Food Above Gold for her way with words in helping me come up with this name!)!
What is a dump recipe?
Dump recipes (also known as dump-and-go recipes and dump dinners) are a style of cooking where you combine the ingredients into a bag to use as freezer meals or dump the ingredients right into your crockpot/instant pot/baking pan/grill and let that cooking vessel do the rest of the work. You know, without all the extra work and hassle. There’s no precooking - you dump the ingredients in and then you go about your life!
Is there still a little bit of chopping and prep involved?
In most cases, yes. But you won’t have to be stuck at your stove when you can be relaxing with the ones you love after a long day. And you can also prep these as make ahead meals and freeze them until you’re ready to thaw and cook them or make them as meal prep for lunches throughout the week!
How does it work?
At the beginning of each month, I’ll share a weeks worth of these easy dinner recipes. That’s 5 recipes in a row of all different types to satisfy the whole family. The recipes will vary in terms of how they’re cooked but you’ll find recipes that you can:
- Dump into your crockpot/instant pot
- Throw into a pan and bake
- Pop onto the grill
Want more?!
But that’s not all! In addition to these great recipes, I’m offering bonus content for those of you who want to make it even easier. These bonuses are exclusively available for email subscribers and there will be things like printable grocery lists, printable prep lists, previews of recipes before they drop, extra recipes and extra tips, tricks and hacks! I totally hate spam and I want you to know that I’ll never spam you or share, rent or sell your information to any outside parties!
